Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb extra-lean ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 small cans of dark red kidney beans
, drained
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the turkey, onion and garlic.
- Then brown the mixture in a pan with the olive oil.
- Add the kidney beans, tomato, chili powder and garlic salt.
- Combine and heat through thoroughly.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with a green salad.
